IFB No. 111545 Janitorial Services

Background
The Employment Development Department (EDD) of California is seeking bids for janitorial services at its facility located at 1207 E. Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91106. The goal of this contract is to maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. The contract will span two years, from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2027.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for janitorial services as outlined in the specifications. Key responsibilities include:

1. Daily cleaning of general offices, private offices, conference rooms, and corridors.
2. Maintenance of treated floors including dust mopping, damp mopping, stripping, treating/waxing (3 layers), and buffing uncarpeted areas.
3. Vacuuming carpets twice a week and as needed.
4. Cleaning carpets using dry chemical methods as required.
5. Dusting furniture and office equipment.
6. Replacing lightbulbs throughout the office on an as-needed basis (lightbulbs provided by EDD).
7. Two staff members will perform janitorial services over an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday with specific hours arranged with the Office Manager.
8. Completion of a Quarterly Maintenance Report to be posted in a designated area.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the EDD facility located at 1207 E. Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91106.
