IFB No. 109550 Weekly Power Sweeping Services

Background
The Employment Development Department (EDD) of California is seeking bids for Weekly Power Sweeping Services at their facility located at 2555 Elm Avenue, Fresno, CA 93706. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and safety at the EDD facility through regular power sweeping services over a specified term.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide weekly power sweeping services which include: consultation/planning on the best method to achieve intended results; completion of power sweeping, blowing, and cleaning as directed by the EDD Representative; drain clearing; debris removal; and identification and reporting of any safety hazards or faulty equipment encountered during work.

All work must comply with applicable building codes and regulations. Specific tasks include:
- Sweeping the entire parking area using a commercial power sweeper
- Cleaning sidewalks and entrances with a portable air blower
- Clearing drains of debris
- Removing all dirt, leaves, paper, glass, cans, and other debris from the premises.

The Contractor must also provide service slips after each service is completed. Services are to be performed between 8:00 a.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Monday unless alternate arrangements are made.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 1, 2025, and will continue through January 31, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the EDD facility located at 2555 Elm Avenue, Fresno, CA 93706.
