IFB Aerial Photography Services - San Diego and Imperial Counties

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #11A4199 for Aerial Photography Services in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
The purpose of this contract is to enhance Caltrans' ability to document and analyze transportation projects through aerial photography, which aligns with their mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide an aircraft with licensed pilot(s) and a photographer for aerial photography services in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
Specific tasks include:
1. Providing aerial photography services as per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for various locations including but not limited to IMP-111 3.2/45.4, SD-005 34.7/36.3, SD-005 R37.4/R52.6, SD-015 R31.3/R37.1, and others as detailed in the bid proposal.
2. The contractor must ensure that all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary for the completion of these services are included.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all services are completed as specified in the agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in designated areas within San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid pilot's license compliant with specifications listed in the Bidder’s Minimum Qualifications Worksheet.
They must also submit proof of insurance within 10 working days after notification of award and comply with California Vehicle Code requirements regarding Motor Carrier Permits if applicable.
