IFB #24C043000 Computer Room Air Conditioner Maintenance

Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for comprehensive maintenance services for its Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC) and Condenser Units (CU) located within the statewide data center.

The goal of this contract is to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of the HVAC units that are critical for maintaining the cooling environment necessary for the data center's infrastructure. The contractor will be responsible for routine inspections, maintenance, and system optimization to support uninterrupted operations and protect critical IT assets.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, transportation, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, permits, and licenses necessary to deliver maintenance services on a routine schedule. Services include:
- Routine inspections and preventive maintenance of eight (8) CRAC units and eight (8) Air Cooled – Cooling Tower Roof units.
- Maintenance of twelve (12) Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and circuit breaker panels.
- Monthly maintenance tasks include replacing filters, checking blower drive systems, inspecting humidifiers, clearing condensate drains, maintaining air-cooled condensers and dry coolers, checking compressors and their oil levels, and ensuring proper operation of water/glycol control valves.
- Quarterly services will also be performed as per the specified schedule in Exhibit A-2. The first service is to be conducted within 30 days of contract execution. All work must adhere to national, state, and local code requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on January 1, 2025, and will continue through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the California Highway Patrol Headquarters Data Center located at 601 North 7th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.
