Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking bids for a contractor to perform background investigation services within the Guardian Alliance Technologies (GAT) background system. This solicitation aims to ensure that candidates selected for positions meet the necessary qualifications and standards as outlined in the POST Selection Requirements for Peace Officers and Public Safety Dispatchers.

Work Details
The contractor shall conduct background investigations on candidates selected and identified by DSH, following the guidelines set forth in Commission Regulations 1953 (b) and 1959 (b), as well as the DSH Background Investigation Policy.

The scope of work includes verifying candidates' backgrounds to ensure compliance with state regulations and DSH policies. Bidders must review the minimum qualifications and detailed Scope of Work located in Attachment 14, Sample Agreement, Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of any agreement resulting from this IFB is from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026. All performance under the agreement must be completed by the termination date.

Place of Performance
The work will take place on state hospital grounds as specified in the contract.
