Background
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is responsible for regulating services and utilities, protecting consumers, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring access to safe and reliable utility infrastructure in California.

The CPUC is seeking to engage a contractor for onsite confidential document destruction services across its offices in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles. This contract aims to ensure the secure destruction of sensitive documents to protect consumer information and maintain regulatory compliance.

Work Details
The contractor will provide onsite mobile shredding services for the complete destruction of confidential documents including paper, sticky notes, glossy paper, No Carbon Required (NCR) paper, fax paper, CDs, and DVDs.

The contractor must supply all necessary labor, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment (including a truck-mounted industrial shredder capable of shredding at least 3,000 pounds of paper per hour), and power. Services will be performed during business hours Monday through Friday at the specified CPUC locations.

The contractor is required to provide trained personnel who are licensed and bonded for these services. All shredded materials must be disposed of securely with no debris left on-site. A 'Certificate of Destruction' must be provided after each service visit.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of three (3) years upon final contract approval.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the CPUC offices located in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles.
