IFB#10207451 Pipette Calibration Services

Background
The State of California, through the Department of Water Resources (DWR), is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) number 10207451 for pipette calibration services.
The DWR's mission is to manage California's water resources and ensure the safety and reliability of water supply.
The goal of this contract is to provide on-site calibration and maintenance services for DWR's electronic and manual laboratory pipettes, which are essential for accurate laboratory operations.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide on-site pipette calibration and maintenance for DWR’s electronic and manual single-channel and multi-channel laboratory pipettes on an as-needed basis.
Specific requirements include:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience providing pipette calibration services, demonstrated through sample calibration certificates/reports or work invoices.
2. Experience performing similar services for at least 2 comparable institutions in the past 3 years, with references provided.
3. Maintenance of NIST-traceability for calibration equipment where applicable.
4. Use of calibrated analytical balances appropriate for the pipette volumes being tested, documented through current calibration certificates.
5. Technicians must be trained in pipette calibration and maintenance, with documentation available upon request.
6. Calibration work must be performed on-site at DWR’s laboratories located in West Sacramento, California.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of this agreement is three (3) years, starting from July 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Genetic Monitoring Laboratory - California Department of Water Resources, located at 3500 Industrial Blvd, West Sacramento, CA 95691.
