Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing a contract for bridge maintenance and repair work in San Diego County. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and longevity of bridge structures by grinding bridge decks, applying polyester concrete overlays, and repairing approach slabs at various locations along the 11-SD-54 and 805 highways.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Grind existing bridge decks to prepare for overlay application.
2. Apply polyester concrete overlay to improve surface durability and extend the life of the bridges.
3. Repair approach slabs to ensure proper alignment and safety for vehicles transitioning onto the bridges.
