The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is soliciting proposals for the operation of Crisis Stabilization Unit ( CSU ) services at 822 Geary Street, San Francisco, CA. The successful Proposer will operate a 16-bed voluntary CSU at the leased facility, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The CSU will serve approximately 1,500 unique unduplicated clients annually. The successful Proposer must collaborate closely with the neighborhood community and first responders (including the Street Crisis Response Team, the San Francisco Local Emergency Medical Services Agency ( LEMSA ), and the Police). Within 90 days after contract award, the successful Proposer must become Medi-Cal certified by the City to operate the CSU in strict accordance with California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 9, 1840.338 (Crisis Stabilization Contact and Site Requirements) and 1840.348 (Crisis Stabilization Staffing Requirements).
