EXT DEM| BATEP Cybersecurity Trainings

Background
The City and County of San Francisco, through the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) under the Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI), is seeking qualified suppliers to provide proposals for administering Cybersecurity training as part of the Bay Area Training and Exercise Program (BATEP).

The goal of this contract is to enhance cybersecurity capabilities within the region, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines.

Work Details
The selected contractors will administer various cybersecurity training courses. Proposers must possess all necessary licenses, permits, and professional certifications required for training in relevant cybersecurity disciplines.

The trainings must meet local, state, and federal laws and may require approval from agencies such as the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES). A non-exhaustive list of potential training courses includes:
- Applied Data Science and AI/Machine Learning for Cybersecurity Professionals
- Certified Ethical Hacker
- Cyber Emergency Response Training
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Proposers are encouraged to identify which courses they can instruct via the Course Indication Page in Attachment 8.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is two years with an option to extend for an additional two years, totaling four years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City and County of San Francisco.
