Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial Monument Wall Project

Background
The Cosumnes Community Services District (District) is seeking proposals from experienced monument builders for the Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial Monument Wall Project.
The District, located in California's Central Valley, serves a population of approximately 207,000 and provides fire protection and parks and recreation services.
The goal of this contract is to design and construct a granite tile wall that enhances the existing memorial site, aligning with the District's mission to enrich community life through quality services.

Work Details
The project involves constructing a curved granite tile wall adjacent to the existing concrete plaza at the Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial.
This wall will serve as a welcome sign and accommodate future installation of commemorative granite tiles.
Specific requirements include:
- The wall must be structurally stable and protect existing features such as seating and a concrete star with flagpole.
- It should wrap around the circular concrete plaza while allowing for future installations by District personnel.
- The total budget for this project is capped at $100,000, which includes all costs related to planning, design, fabrication, permitting, transportation, installation, and other necessary items.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed no later than December 2024.
The contractor must commence work within 30 days of receiving a written notice to proceed.
