CSUB Job Order Contract 2024/25 BID NO. 10749

The Trustees of the California State University will receive sealed bid proposals in the Office of Procurement & Contract Services, Room 102, in the Administration West Building, at 9001 Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield CA 93311, for furnishing all labor and materials for a single Job Order Contract, Bid Solicitation No. 10749, at California State University Bakersfield. Proposals will be received in the above-mentioned room until 3:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in accordance with the contract documents, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read. This Notice to Contractors is for the award of Job Order Contract (JOC), which is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced, indefinite quantity contract. The Contract scope of work includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices. It is awarded to the Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition and construction of infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other real property. The University issues to the Contractor discrete, fixed-price task or job orders, as needed, under the contract. Under the JOC concept, the Contractor furnishes all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work. CSUB intends to award one (1) JOC Agreement, but may award up to three (3) separate JOC Agreements to the three lowest responsible bidders under this solicitation. Each Agreement will have a $0 Minimum Contract Value, and Maximum Contract Value of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) and a term of 12 months commencing on the date of the Notice to Proceed. CSUB reserves the right to increase the maximum amount of each Agreement to Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000), if the need arises. Bidders must be prequalified with the Trustees. Bidders shall register and log in to PlanetBids to apply for financial prequalification and JOC supplemental prequalification at https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/15331/portal-home. Both prequalification applications are due no less than 10 business days prior to the bid due date. A project specific approval letter is required to obtain the required approval to bid for Job Order Contract, Bid Solicitation No. 10749. Contractors shall email the Notice to Contractors to the Prequalification Administrator at cocm.prequal@calstate.edu. The project specific approval will be issued upon confirmation the contractor satisfies all the requirements for this solicitation and their systemwide prequalification financial aggregate rating is sufficient to propose. Official bid proposal packages will only be distributed to prequalified general contractors.
