CSA 59 Deer Lodge Park Road Paving Project

Background
The County Service Area 59 Deer Lodge Park Road Paving Project is initiated by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Works - Special Districts. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure within County Service Area 59, located in Lake Arrowhead, California. The primary goal is to improve road conditions by repaving existing asphalt roadways, thereby ensuring safer and more efficient transportation for residents and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to complete the project. This includes:

- Pulverizing 4,400 linear feet of existing asphalt roadway;
- Grading, shaping, compacting, and paving with compacted hot mix asphalt (HMA);
- Adjusting existing valve cans and sewer manholes/clean-outs to grade;
- Sweeping;
- Cleanup;
- Traffic control;
- All other work necessary to satisfactorily complete the project as outlined in the Bid Documents including Specifications and Project Exhibits.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within 30 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on Moon Drive, Abner Drive, Deer Way, The Circle, and Constellation Way in Lake Arrowhead, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California Class 'A' (General Engineering) License or Class C-12 (Earthwork and Paving) Contractor’s License at the time of bid opening. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations prior to bid submission. Additionally, bidders must submit a Non-Collusion Declaration and comply with California prevailing wage laws.
