The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number #24C340005 entitled, CHP San Jose Area office Parking Lot Repair Services. When preparing and submitting a bid, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Requirements California Law Requires Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. All bidders for this solicitation, must meet the minimum DVBE participation requirement of 5%. Bidders are eligible to receive a DVBE incentive for their participation. For more information regarding this option, see section M of the IFB entitled Preference and Incentive Programs. License Requirement: California Contractor s State License Board (CSLB) C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. Mandatory Bid Walk on February 13, 2025 at 11AM.
Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number #24C340005 for Parking Lot Repair Services at the CHP San Jose Area office. The purpose of this contract is to provide necessary repairs to the parking lot, ensuring safety and functionality for CHP operations.

Work Details

All work must comply with applicable California laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements. The contractor must hold a valid California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) C-12 license for Earthwork and Paving.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for the resulting agreement is from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. This period may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the CHP San Jose Area office located at 2020 Junction Avenue, San Jose, CA 95131.
