The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number #24C350010 entitled, CHP Marin Area office - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services. When preparing and submitting a bid, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Requirements California Law Requires Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. All bidders for this solicitation, must meet the minimum DVBE participation requirement of 5%. Bidders are eligible to receive a DVBE incentive for their participation. For more information regarding this option, see section M of the IFB entitled "Preference and Incentive Programs." Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number #24C350010 for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services at the CHP Marin Area office.

The CHP's mission is to ensure safety and service to the public. This contract aims to replace outdated HVAC systems to improve operational efficiency and comfort within their facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive HVAC replacement services as detailed in Exhibit A of the IFB. The contractor must possess a valid C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license from the California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB). Additionally, all work must adhere to prevailing wage requirements as specified by the Department of Industrial Relations.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

The services will be performed at the CHP Marin Area office located at 6100 LaBath Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
