Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services under Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 25C801002. The CHP's mission includes ensuring public safety and providing effective law enforcement services. This contract aims to secure a reliable provider for towing and storage of evidence vehicles, which is critical for the agency's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services as detailed in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' This includes:

1. Towing services for evidentiary vehicles as directed by CHP personnel.
2. Secure storage facilities capable of accommodating a minimum of 20 evidentiary vehicles indoors and at least 10 semi-trailers attached to trackers on the property.
3. Availability of sufficient equipment and personnel to load or offload cargo or property with short notice.
4. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the handling and storage of evidence.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2025, and will run through June 30, 2028, with potential extensions based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within a facility located no more than 10 miles from the CHP Inland Division office in Sacramento, California.
