Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services for the Baldwin Park Area Office. The CHP's mission is to ensure safety, service, and security on California's highways. This contract aims to provide reliable towing and storage services for evidence impoundment, supporting the CHP's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services as detailed in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work'. This includes:

1) Towing of vehicles to designated storage facilities;
2) Secure storage of impounded vehicles;
3) Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding evidence handling;
4) Timely response to towing requests from CHP personnel;
5) Maintenance of accurate records of all vehicles towed and stored;
6) Coordination with CHP for vehicle release processes.

The total funding limit for this agreement is $130,000.00.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on February 1, 2025, and will run through January 31, 2028. The term may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in the Baldwin Park area of California.
