CCC Camarillo - Landscaping Maintenance Services

Background
The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is issuing a contract for landscaping maintenance services at the CCC Camarillo Center, located at 3200 Wright Road, Camarillo, CA 93010.

The mission of the CCC is to provide contracting opportunities to California Certified Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE). This contract aims to maintain a healthy outdoor environment while promoting sustainable landscaping practices.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and incidentals necessary for landscape maintenance services. Specific tasks include:

- Mowing lawns weekly (bi-weekly in fall/winter)
- Trimming with power weed eaters
- Edging four times per season
- Aeration/thatching in late August or September
- General clean-up of trash from turf and landscape beds with each visit.

For planter areas, a pre-emergent herbicide will be applied for weed control. Any weeds that occur thereafter shall be pulled by hand or sprayed with post-emergent herbicide. A minimum three-inch layer of mulch will be applied on all exposed soil surfaces. Pruning of trees and shrubs will be done throughout the growing season, excluding trees over 12 feet tall. Fertilization of trees and shrubs will occur in spring using fertilizer spikes. Annual flowers will be planted around the center's sign at Wright Road. The contractor must hold a valid C-27 Landscaping Contractor License throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
The term of this agreement is from approval through June 30, 2025.

The services will be performed at the CCC Camarillo Center located at 3200 Wright Road, Camarillo, CA 93010.
