Carpet, Floor and Upholstery Cleaning RFP

Background
The Cosumnes Community Services District (District) is seeking bids from qualified Proposers to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and all work necessary to perform cleaning of carpets, floors, and upholstery throughout the District.

The District is the largest community services district in California, located in Sacramento County, providing fire protection and parks and recreation services to its community. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities managed by the District.

Work Details
The services required under this contract include:

1. Carpet Cleaning: Steam cleaning and deep soil extraction for carpeted areas at 21 locations annually.
2. Area Rug Cleaning: Steam cleaning and deep soil extraction for area rugs at 3 locations quarterly.
3. Concrete Floor Cleaning: Polishing concrete stain areas at 4 locations annually with acrylic floor polish.
4. Vinyl Floor Cleaning: Stripping, sealing, and waxing all resilient/vinyl floors at 13 locations annually.
5. Upholstery Cleaning: Deep cleaning recliners at 9 locations every other year.

All work must meet specified standards ensuring cleanliness free of dirt and stains.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms, contingent upon satisfactory performance by the Contractor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Cosumnes Community Services District in California.
