ID: 0000032685 • State: California

Description

The California Department of Technology (CDT) and the California Network and Telecommunications (CALNET) Program in conjunction with CDT Office of Information Security (OIS) are seeking input from the vendor community on managed security services in alignment with the State s Cal-Secure strategic plan. The CALNET Program has released this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit product descriptions, constraints, limitations, and considerations that the State may use in developing future bidding opportunities around cybersecurity solutions to support State and local government entities. The CALNET Program is requesting interested vendors provide critical feedback to the various components identified within the different tabs of the RFI Workbook. Please do not provide traditional marketing materials, as the State would like to understand how your solution meets the requirements identified, or how the requirements create issues or limitations for your service delivery. The CALNET Program and OIS will compile all responses and determine the best approach for the State to achieve cyber security compliance in accordance with the five phases outlined in the Cal-Secure strategic plan. The CALNET Program recognizes the time and resources associated with compiling and providing feedback to RFI efforts. Vendor input is critical for CDT, OIS, and the CALNET Program determining the best approach and contract vehicle for State entities to procure cyber security services.
