C5612619-D - CPR/First Aid Trainer Training

Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking to contract for CPR/First Aid Trainer Training services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that CDCR staff are properly trained and certified in CPR and First Aid, complying with the standards set forth by the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.
This training is essential for maintaining safety and preparedness within correctional facilities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, class supplies, tools, equipment, permits, state licenses, instructor staff, transportation (including travel and per diem), and any other necessary expenses to deliver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid (FA) Instructor certification training at the R.A. McGee Correctional Training Center (CTC).
The training will include:
1. Master Certification Training for new certified instructors.
2. Training for Trainers (T-4-T), which encompasses training for new CPR/FA Instructors, transitioning current instructors, and recertifying existing instructors.
3. Courses must meet the standards outlined in Chapter 1.5 sections 100017 (c) of Title 22, Division 9 of the California Code of Regulations.
4. The Contractor must have a minimum of twenty-four months of CPR/FA training experience within a law enforcement agency in the last thirty-six months and provide at least three professional law enforcement references.

Period of Performance
The anticipated commencement date for services is July 1, 2025, with a term end date of June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the R.A. McGee Correctional Training Center located at 9850 Twin Cities Road, Galt, CA 95632.
