All Labor and Materials for the Metrolink Station Fence Repairs

Background
The City of San Buenaventura is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. B-130000808 for the purpose of obtaining bids for all labor and materials required for the repair and replacement of fencing at the Metrolink Station.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and aesthetic integrity of the station's perimeter fencing, which is essential for the operations of the Metrolink service.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair and replace rusted fencing, treating approximately 1,435 linear feet of corroded fence areas with an anti-rust inhibitor.
2. Replacing or repairing damaged steel components on 4- and 6-foot sections, including bent or missing parts and weld failures.
3. Removing rust, flaking paint, and corrosion from approximately 1,435 linear feet using appropriate methods.
4. Painting all surfaces to match the existing finish, ensuring they are smooth and free from loose materials; applying one coat of primer followed by two coats of finish paint.
5. Painting a bike rack and signpost on the platform in black.
6. Ensuring that all work is performed with minimal disruption to Metrolink station operations and patrons while maintaining a clean worksite throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contractor will have 30 working days to complete the project after the construction schedule has been approved.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Ventura East Metrolink Station located at 6175 Ventura Blvd., Ventura, CA 93003.
