Air Compressors

Background
The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is seeking quotes to furnish, deliver, and install two new and unused air compressors for their garage shop. The goal of this contract is to replace two existing air compressors that will be removed and disposed of.

The LBPUD aims to ensure efficient operations at their facility by acquiring reliable equipment along with maintenance services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following:
1. Two (2) Oil Injected Screw Compressors:
- Compressor 1: Capacity of 34.3 CFM @ 150 PSI, 10HP motor, voltage 208-230/460V/3ph/60Hz, microprocessor control (Elektronikon Basic), integrated refrigerant dryer.
- Compressor 2: Capacity of 58.4 CFM @ 150 PSI, 20HP motor, voltage 208-230/460V/3ph/60Hz, microprocessor control (Elektronikon Basic), remote monitoring via AIRKeeper, integrated refrigerant dryer.
2. Installation services by a factory-trained local service representative.
3. One (1) annual inspection and quarterly preventative maintenance for one year after installation, including load tests during annual inspections.
4. Removal and disposal of the existing compressors.

Period of Performance
The contract period is twelve months after the date of award or after the expiration of the current contract, whichever occurs first.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the LBPUD Operations Service Center located at 1731 E. 33rd Street, Long Beach, CA 90807.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with Long Beach Buys and possess a valid business license from the City of Long Beach. They must also comply with local preference provisions if applicable, which require documentation such as a current business license and seller’s permit showing a place of business within city limits.
