9TSC0103 Rincon Fire Station Material Testing

Background
The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is soliciting services for Material Testing and Inspection for the Rincon Fire Station Replace Facility Project. The construction is estimated to begin in April 2025, with services expected to last twenty-four (24) calendar months from the date of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The goal of this contract is to ensure that all inspection and testing services required for the construction project are provided by a Division of the State Architect (DSA) accepted Laboratory Evaluation and Acceptance (LEA) facility.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all inspection and testing services necessary for the construction of the Rincon Fire Station project. This includes compliance with Exhibit A, Attachment 1 - Detailed Scope of Work, which outlines specific tasks and responsibilities related to material testing and inspection.

The contractor must be certified as a Laboratory Evaluation and Acceptance (LEA) facility and maintain this certification throughout the duration of the contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is estimated to last twenty-four (24) calendar months from the date of Notice to Proceed (NTP), which is anticipated to be issued around April 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Rincon Fire Station site located in San Diego County, California.
