Background
The County of Alameda is issuing Request for Quotation No. 902600 for janitorial staff uniforms.

The General Services Agency - Building Maintenance Department (GSA-BMD) provides maintenance and operation services to over 135 County-owned and leased facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and functional environments.

The goal of this contract is to provide uniforms for approximately 155 janitorial staff members, with a focus on maintaining quality and availability.

Work Details
The contractor will supply various types of uniforms including:
- **Uniforms for Lead Janitor:**
- **Button-Up Shirts:**
- Style: Button-up collar, poplin, short sleeves for both men and women.
- Material: Polyester/cotton blend (at least 25% cotton).
- Manufacturer: Red Kap or equivalent.
- Color: Dark blue with lighter blue stripes.
- Features: No-iron, non-shrink materials, machine-washable, two double-layer stitched large pockets.
- **Pants:**
- Style: Heavy-duty industrial pants; permanent press; fly-front for both men and women.
- Material: 7.5-ounce polyester/cotton twill (at least 25% cotton).
- Manufacturer: Red Kap or equivalent.
- Color: Dark blue.

- **Uniforms for Janitor or Janitor Supervisor:**
- **Zip-Front Shirt:**
- Style: Notch collar; separating zipper in front; short sleeves for both men and women.
- Material: Polyester/cotton blend (at least 25% cotton).
- Manufacturer: Red Kap or equivalent.
- Color: Light Grey.
- **Pants:**
- Style: Heavy-duty industrial pants; permanent press; fly-front for both men and women.
- Material: 7.5-ounce polyester/cotton twill (at least 25% cotton).
- Manufacturer: Red Kap or equivalent.
- Color: Black.

All uniforms will require logo application as specified in the RFQ.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a three-year term with an option to renew for an additional two years, starting from July 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The uniforms will be delivered to various locations across Alameda County where the GSA-BMD operates its facilities.
