582420 - Overdose Prev. Kit - Fentanyl Test Strips

Background
The County of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the provision of Fentanyl Test Strips as part of its public health initiative. The goal of this contract is to enhance overdose prevention efforts by providing rapid testing capabilities for fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid. Work Details
The contractor will supply Fentanyl Test Strips with the following specifications:

1. The strips must be rapid qualitative immunoassays designed for the detection of fentanyl in liquid samples.

2. Each strip must have a shelf life of no less than 12 months.

3. The strips should be packaged in boxes containing 100 units each for proper storage.

4. Each box must be clearly stamped with an expiration date and lot number.

5. Delivery of the test strips must occur within 30 days of purchase order issuance, and no later than June 30, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon issuance of the purchase order and must be completed by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to specified locations within Los Angeles County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with California safety requirements for all equipment provided. All equipment must be new and not previously used as demonstrators. Bidders are required to submit detailed literature on the proposed units along with their bids.
