505 and 500 Building Top Signage

Background
CalOptima is seeking a licensed contractor to design, permit, fabricate, and install three exterior rooftop signs on two multi-story buildings located at 500 City Parkway West and 505 City Parkway West in Orange, CA.
The project aims to enhance the visibility of the buildings through new signage while ensuring compliance with local regulations and aesthetic standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Design and install one new non-illuminated rooftop sign with channel logo and letters on the 500 building, mounted on a concrete parapet wall.
2. Remove two existing rooftop signs from the 505 building.
3. Design and install two new illuminated rooftop signs with channel logo and letters on the 505 building, one on the east elevation and one on the west elevation, mounted at the rooftop level of a ten-story glass curtain wall building.
4. Ensure watertight installation of all signs, managing quality factors such as water infiltration and color degradation.
5. Package, remove, and dispose of all existing sign materials within two business days of removal.
6. Obtain required permits and oversee sign fabrication and installation work.
7. Provide detailed installation designs for mounting, wire-ways, and illumination methods specific to glass and concrete substrates.

Period of Performance
The expected initial duration of the agreement is to be determined by schedule; however, bids are due by January 8, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at two locations: 500 City Parkway West (four-story office building) and 505 City Parkway West (ten-story office building), both located in Orange, CA.
