Background
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking information from vendors regarding their capability to provide Multi-Channel Video/Cable Services at the Veterans Home of California located at 260 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599.
This facility includes 741 residential units, 338 patient rooms, and 49 common areas.
The goal is to enhance the living experience for veterans by providing comprehensive video services in both private and communal spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for delivering multi-channel video services that include:
1. Providing information on service delivery methods, including the use of current equipment and internet-based services.
2. Confirming the type of equipment necessary for Bulk Video Services and whether it will be provided by the vendor.
3. Addressing how services can be extended to specific rooms and if additional rooms can be added later.
4. Ensuring all wiring and maintenance are covered during the contract term.
5. Accepting payments as 'Utility Payment' or 'Direct Payment'.
6. Complying with State of California regulations and ensuring all work adheres to FCC standards.

Period of Performance
The potential term of the agreement could last for two (2) years, starting upon execution of a contract following this RFI.

Services will be performed at the Veterans Home of California located at 260 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate their legal right to do business in California, including submitting a copy of their business license and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
They may utilize subcontractors but must certify that these subcontractors perform a commercially useful function related to the agreement.
