24-358 - Landscape Cleanup and Maintenance Services at the Daly City DMV Field Office

Background
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking to procure landscape cleanup and maintenance services for its Daly City Field Office. This contract aims to ensure the upkeep of the DMV's outdoor spaces, aligning with the agency's commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for its customers.
The contract is set for a term of thirty-six (36) months, with an estimated total budget of $83,269.00.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform a one-time landscape cleanup service (if needed and authorized) and bi-weekly landscape maintenance services at the Daly City DMV field office located at 1500 Sullivan Avenue, Daly City, CA 94015.

The scope includes:
1. One-time landscape cleanup service tasks such as weed abatement, removal of flammable debris, clearing overgrown vegetation, replenishing soil or mulch where needed, and ensuring the property is maintained to an approved standard.
2. Bi-weekly maintenance tasks including mowing lawns to a uniform height, trimming shrubs and bushes to specified heights, removing weeds from turf and hard surfaces, maintaining trees by pruning branches up to eight feet high, and ensuring all areas are clean and free from debris.
3. The contractor must implement low environmental impact practices using certified organic materials when applicable. All waste must be properly disposed of offsite in compliance with local regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on May 1, 2025, or upon contract approval and will last for thirty-six (36) months.

Services will be performed at the Daly City DMV Field Office located at 1500 Sullivan Avenue, Daly City, CA 94015.
