Background
The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is issuing a Small Business Bid Solicitation (SB Bid) for after-hours janitorial services at the Eureka DMV Field Office. The contract aims to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, supporting the DMV's mission to provide quality service to the public.

The contract is set for a term of thirty-six (36) months, with an estimated budget of $136,368.00.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform after-hours janitorial services at the Eureka DMV field office located at 2500 6th St., Eureka, CA 96453. Services include:
1. General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and maintaining a weekly maintenance log.
2. Specific cleaning duties include:
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, desks, and bathroom fixtures.
- Weekly tasks such as dusting furniture and polishing metal surfaces.
- Biweekly application of floor finish on hard floors.
- Quarterly deep cleaning tasks including dusting light fixtures and cleaning air conditioning vents.
3. All janitorial personnel must have valid identification while on premises and must be introduced to the DMV Project Manager prior to commencing work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of thirty-six (36) months starting from the proposed date of April 1, 2025.
