24-175 Parking Lot Sweeping and Pressure Washing and/or Steam Cleaning Services for the Modesto DMV Field Office Current Contractor: Elite Pressure Washing Services, LLC Current Contract Term: 12/1/2021 to 11/30/2024 Current Contract Amount: $47,700.00 Current Monthly Cost: Parking Lot Sweeping $1,025.00 Pressure Washing and/or Steam Cleaning $300.00 Estimated Budget for New Project: $85,392.00 Term: 36 months (see Schedule of Events for proposed start date of contract). See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. Please read full Scope of Work before submitting written questions. Bidder Qualifications: Bidder must be certified by the State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Enterprise Services (OSDS), as a Certified Small Business. The awarded contractor shall utilize truck-mounted equipment to perform parking lot sweeping during the term of the contract. The awarded contractor shall not utilize trailer-mounted equipment to perform parking lot sweeping during the term of the contract. Background
The California State Transportation Agency, through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), is issuing a Small Business Bid Solicitation (SB Bid) for parking lot sweeping and pressure washing and/or steam cleaning services at the Modesto DMV Field Office.

The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and safety in the parking area, which is approximately 117,871 square feet. This ensures that it meets state standards and provides a pleasant environment for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. **Parking Lot Sweeping**: Conducted five times per week during non-business hours (Sunday through Thursday, between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM). The contractor must utilize truck-mounted equipment only. Sweeping includes all paved surfaces, corners, behind car stops, around dumpsters, sidewalks adjacent to buildings, doorways, entryways, alcoves, and under trees/shrubs.

2. **Pressure Washing/Steam Cleaning**: Performed once a month during non-business hours on the first weekend of each month. This includes cleaning sidewalks, curbs, entryways, walkways, alcoves, spaces around columns, carports, overhangs, benches, concrete trash bins/ash urns. The contractor must use their own water source and equipment.

3. **Building and Waste Bin Enclosure Cleaning**: Similar to pressure washing but focused on building walls and waste bin enclosures. Services must ensure no debris is blown into drains or adjacent properties.

Period of Performance
The contract term is proposed for 36 months starting from December 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Modesto DMV Field Office located at 124 Burney Street, Modesto, CA 95354.
