Background
The State of California, through the Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating state buildings and grounds statewide. This contract aims to procure fire sprinkler maintenance and repair services for state property, specifically Building #084. The goal is to ensure that fire safety systems are properly maintained and operational in compliance with applicable regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive fire sprinkler maintenance and repair services, which include:

1) Preventive Maintenance: Regular inspections of the automatic sprinkler system piping for leakage, corrosion, physical damage, and proper installation.

2) Repair Services: Immediate response to repair requests within one business day, with attempts to complete repairs on the same day. Emergency repairs must be addressed within two hours of notification.

3) Parts Replacement: Replacement of worn or inoperable parts with new, factory-manufactured components. The contractor must maintain an adequate supply of necessary parts or obtain them within 48 hours as required by the FMD Contract Administrator.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is three (3) years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Franchise Tax Board located at 9645 Butterfield Way, Sacramento, CA 95827.
