2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Project - Colusa Ave and Juniper Ave Rehabilitation Package, CIP No. ET8250

Background
The City Council of the City of Davis is inviting bids for the 2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, specifically targeting Colusa Ave and Juniper Ave. The project aims to enhance road conditions and ensure compliance with local standards, contributing to the overall infrastructure improvement within the city.

Work Details
The work includes mobilization and demobilization, public notification, traffic control, stage construction, clearing, grubbing, and environmental protection.

Potholing, adjusting and replacing utility boxes and covers are also part of the work. Concrete improvements will involve curb and gutter installation, sidewalk enhancements, and ADA/PROWAG compliant curb ramps.

Additionally, the project entails removing asphalt concrete (AC) surfacing and base materials, subgrade preparation and compaction, grading, full-depth hot-mix asphalt (HMA) paving, conventional road reconstruction with aggregate base, geogrid, HMA, traffic striping, markings and markers. All work must adhere to the City of Davis Standard Specifications and applicable local and state laws.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence in September 2024 and has a completion timeframe of 50 working days.

The contract work will be performed in the City of Davis, California.
