Marketing Communications and Design Services

Background
The City of Mesa's Office of Economic Development (OED) is seeking proposals for marketing communications and design services to enhance its economic development efforts. The mission of OED is to promote a culture of quality, support the creation of higher wage jobs, and increase prosperity for residents by positioning Mesa as a premier location for business. The contract aims to attract new companies, reposition Mesa in the regional market, and promote various business districts and programs.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide a range of services including:

1. **Brand Refresh**: Develop a refreshed website, eNewsletter template, industry profiles, business district brochures, print and digital ad templates, PowerPoint templates, and social media graphics.

2. **Industry Segment Strategies**: Create marketing strategies for up to six industry segments including medical devices, aerospace, and electric vehicles. This includes media planning, digital/print campaigns, and analytics reporting.

3. **Business District Branding**: Conduct SWOT analysis and competitive analysis for business districts; develop branding elements such as logos and style guides; implement marketing strategies to attract businesses.

4. **Regional Awareness Strategy**: Promote Mesa as an ideal location for high-end retail and luxury living through research, brand development, and marketing communications strategies.

5. **Content Development**: Assist in creating promotional content including press releases, articles, social media posts, and website content.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a three-year term with the possibility of two one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within the City of Mesa, Arizona.
