Citywide Demolition Services Job Order Contract - JOC236

Background
The City of Phoenix, Arizona, through its Office of the City Engineer, is seeking qualified contractors to provide Citywide Demolition Job Order Contracting (JOC) Services. The goal is to select up to five contractors who will operate on an on-call basis to perform demolition services as needed. This initiative aligns with the city's mission to maintain and improve public infrastructure and safety.

Work Details
Contractors will be expected to perform a variety of demolition services, including:
- Demolition of city-owned structures and improvements, including backfill and grading.
- Demolition of privately-owned buildings through city enforcement actions.
- Abandonment or removal of septic systems, drywells, water wells, monitoring wells, and other sub-grade features.
- Selective demolition of city-owned improvements.
- Minimal build-back services associated with the demolition.

Each Job Order Agreement (JOA) issued under this contract will not exceed $250,000 in construction costs; however, no JOA will exceed $500,000 without Council approval. Contractors must provide performance and payment bonds for each Job Order proposal prior to executing the Agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a duration of 36 months or a maximum value of $3,000,000 per JOC, whichever occurs first. There is an option to renew for an additional 24-month term or until the maximum contract amount reaches $5,000,000.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of Phoenix and may include various sites throughout the city.
