Cooling Towner

Background
Arkansas State University is issuing this Competitive Bid (CB) to obtain pricing for cooling towers. The goal of the contract is to secure a reliable supplier for cooling tower systems that meet specific performance and design criteria, ensuring efficient operation within the university's facilities.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of a Factory Assembled Cooling Tower Package, which must meet the following specifications:
- The cooling tower must have a design capacity of 2400 GPM, cooling water from 97.5°F to 85°F at an 80°F design wet bulb temperature.
- Acceptable manufacturers include Baltimore Air Coil (BAC), Marley, and EVAPCO.
- The cooling tower must be factory-assembled, outdoor-suited, with induced draft and vertical air discharge.
- Delivery must occur within 30 days of the issuance of the purchase order.
- The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary accessories and ensuring that all components are adequately packaged to prevent damage during shipping.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the purchase order, with delivery required within 30 days.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to Arkansas State University Facilities Management located at 2713 Pawnee, Jonesboro, AR 72401.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Arkansas procurement laws and provide necessary certifications including but not limited to: certification as a minority-owned business if applicable, compliance with restrictions on boycotting Israel, illegal immigrant employment restrictions, and certification regarding scrutinized companies.
