Twelve (12) Natural Gas Bypass Pumps
Background
The City of Fairhope, located in Baldwin County, Alabama, is seeking bids for the provision and delivery of twelve (12) natural gas bypass pumps for its Water/Wastewater Department Lift Stations. This project is funded through a grant from the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) under the Resources and Ecosystem Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act of 2012 (RESTORE Act). The goal of this contract is to enhance the city's wastewater management capabilities.
Work Details
The contractor will provide and deliver a total of twelve (12) natural gas bypass pumps across various lift station locations. The specific requirements include:
1. **Intermediate Lift Station**:
- 1 x CD100S 4” Godwin Natural Gas DRI Prime Pump (Critical Silence, Skid Mounted)
- 1 x Ford MSG425 EPA Certified Natural Gas Engine (Prime Guard Panel included)
- 1 x 4” x 12’ Suction Tube (304SS SCH10)
- Fabrication Labor for Stainless Steel Suction Tube
- 1 x 4” Discharge including Piping and Valves (Ductile Iron)
- 15 x 4” Bolt Packs with Gaskets
2. **Thompson Hall Lift Station**: Same as Intermediate Lift Station.
3. **Lakewood Lift Station**: Same as Intermediate Lift Station.
4. **Carmel Square Lift Station**: Same as Intermediate Lift Station.
5. **Magnolia Apartments Lift Station**: Same as Intermediate Lift Station.
6. **Rock Creek 1 Lift Station**:
- 1 x CD103M 4” Godwin Natural Gas DRI Prime Pump (Critical Silence, Skid Mounted, 4” x 4”)
7. **Baldwin One Lift Station**: Same as Rock Creek 1.
8. **Valley Lift Station**: Same as Rock Creek 1.
9. **Pier Lift Station**:
- 1 x CD140M 4” Godwin Natural Gas DRI Prime Pump (Critical Silence, Skid Mounted, 4” x 4”)
10. **Mobile Lift Station**: Same as Pier Lift Station.
11. **Quail Creek 1 Lift Station**:
- 1 x CD160M 6” Godwin Natural Gas DRI Prime Pump (Critical Silence, Skid Mounted, 6” x 6”).
12. **Woodlands Lift Station**:
- 1 x CD180M 6” Godwin Natural Gas DRI Prime Pump (Critical Silence, Skid Mounted, 8” x 6”).
Period of Performance
The delivery of the pumps is expected within a timeframe of approximately twelve to sixteen weeks after the bid award and receipt of the purchase order.
Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at various lift station locations within the City of Fairhope, Alabama.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess an Alabama State Contractor’s License and provide their license number in their bid submission. Additionally, bidders must be registered with SAM.gov to confirm debarment/suspension status and include their UEI number in the proposal. The awarded contractor must maintain Workman’s Compensation Insurance for all employees working on City premises and General Liability Insurance to protect against accidents.
