Background
The St. Clair County Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking quotes for lawn services for the fiscal year 2025, which spans from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
The goal of this contract is to maintain the landscaping and lawn areas of the DHR office located in Pell City, Alabama.

Work Details
The vendor will provide comprehensive lawn services which include:
1. **Grass Cutting Service**: Up to 20 cuts per fiscal year with a schedule coordinated with the DHR County office.
During the growing season (Spring and Summer), cutting may be required 2-3 times per month. Each cutting must include:
- Weed eating around shrub beds and cleaning cut areas without damaging shrubs.
- Trimming and spraying around fences, porches, and buildings.
- Edging along sidewalks, walkways, curbs, and parking lots.
- Removing grass/weeds from sidewalks and maintaining a clean appearance in the parking lot perimeter.
- Blowing grass clippings and leaves from all surfaces including sidewalks and parking lots.
- Fine mulching of leaves on the lawn; any unmulched leaves must be removed from the property.
- Removal of trash and debris to ensure a clean area.
2. **Shrub/Hedge Trimmings**: Limited to two trims per year (one in Spring and one in Fall). Cuttings must be removed after each service.
3. **Water Retention Area/Ponds**: Six cuts during April to September (once per month), including trimming/spraying as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.
