Pest Control Annual Contract

Background
The City of Fairhope, located in Baldwin County, Alabama, is seeking qualified contractors to provide a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program for city-owned and leased locations.

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest control while adhering to environmentally sound practices.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the following components of the IPM program: monitoring, trapping, pesticide application, pest removal, and pest prevention.

The service must suppress all pest species that could affect public health or damage property, including rodents, insects, arachnids, termites, and stinging insects. The contractor must maintain certification as commercial pesticide applicators and submit an IPM Plan five days prior to the start date. The plan must include pesticide labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), a service schedule for inspections at each facility, and photocopies of relevant licenses.

Routine inspections will focus on areas such as food storage and preparation areas. All treatment sites will be treated monthly for pests including ants, fleas, roaches, silverfish, mice, and rats. The City reserves the right to add or remove treatment sites during the contract term.

Period of Performance
The contract is intended for a duration of twelve (12) months with an option to extend for two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various city-owned facilities located in Fairhope, Alabama.
