FY25 Lawn Care Service- FO-Mobile

Background
The State of Alabama, through its Division of Procurement, is seeking bids for lawn care services to support the ADEM Mobile Field Office. The goal of this contract is to maintain the grounds in a professional manner, ensuring compliance with local codes and trade practices.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive lawn care services which include but are not limited to: mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization, weed control, and debris removal.

The contract will establish a 12-month service period with options for up to four additional 12-month extensions based on mutual agreement. Vendors must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit to understand the specific requirements and conditions of the work.

Vendors are required to submit proof of liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 general aggregate and $500,000 per occurrence. Additionally, proof of workers' compensation insurance must be provided. The exact quantity of services required is unknown as orders will be placed as needed by the agency.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is for 12 months with options to extend for an additional four 12-month periods upon mutual agreement between the state and the vendor.

Services will be performed at the ADEM Mobile Field Office located at 1615 S Broad Street, Mobile, AL 36605.
