DHR Perry Co HVAC Filter replacement

Background
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a contractor to provide a one-time service for the replacement of HVAC filters across various county offices. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all HVAC systems are equipped with new, compliant filters to maintain air quality and system performance. This initiative aligns with DHR's mission to provide quality services and support to the community.

Work Details
The contractor will replace all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers, at designated DHR county offices. The scope includes:

- Conducting mandatory site visits to assess the quantity, size, and type of filters needed for replacement per air handler.
- Providing pleated filters (minimum MERV rating of 13) and HEPA filters that meet ASHRAE standards.
- Ensuring proper installation and disposal of old filters in compliance with industry guidelines.
- Coordinating with DHR Points of Contact (POCs) for scheduling and signing in upon arrival.
- Documenting the replacement process through inspection forms and photographs showing the new filters installed correctly.

All services must be performed by technicians with a minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience. The total price quoted must include all associated costs such as travel, labor, materials, and equipment rentals.

Period of Performance
The service must be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various DHR county office locations throughout Alabama.
