Background
The Department of Human Resources (DHR) in Alabama is seeking a contractor to provide HVAC filter replacement services across various county offices. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of HVAC systems by replacing all necessary filters, thereby improving air quality and system efficiency. This solicitation follows a previous round that did not result in an award due to excessive pricing.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a one-time service to replace all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers, at designated DHR county offices. The scope includes:

- Replacement of pleated filters and HEPA filters as per ASHRAE standards.
- Suppliers must conduct site visits to assess the quantity, size, and type of filters needed for each air handler.
- The unit price must cover all costs including travel, labor, materials, and disposal of old filters.
- Filters must be new and comply with a minimum MERV rating of 13.
- Installation must follow industry best practices for HVAC systems.
- Suppliers are responsible for ensuring proper operation post-replacement and must document the replacement with pictures showing the clean installation and proper labeling.
- All work must be completed by May 30, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various DHR county offices across Alabama.
