Background
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking to replace HVAC filters across various county offices as part of their general services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, thereby improving indoor air quality and system performance.

This solicitation requires suppliers to attend mandatory site visits to assess the specific needs at each location before submitting a quote.

Work Details
The contract involves a one-time service to replace all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers. The specific tasks include:
1. Replacement of pleated filters and HEPA filters in accordance with ASHRAE standards.
2. Suppliers must provide all necessary materials, including new filters, and ensure proper disposal of old filters.
3. Installation must adhere to industry best practices, with technicians having a minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC systems.
4. Each new filter must be labeled with the date replaced, company name, technician initials, and unit number.
5. Suppliers are required to take and send pictures post-replacement to the designated DHR Point of Contact (POC) at each county office for verification.

Period of Performance
The service must be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various DHR county offices across Alabama as specified in the site visit schedule.
