The vendor must be ISO 17025:2017 accredited and able to travel to each laboratory site to perform the service. The vendor must provide the calibration service for all pipettes by May 31, 2024.
Work Details
The vendor is required to perform the following tasks: document each pipette by serial number and ID number, perform a Gravimetric Inspection on each pipette, disassemble and perform a thorough cleaning, adhere a calibration label on each pipette, seal or O-ring replacement and/or lubricate piston according to manufacturer's requirements, calibrate pipettes according to ISO 8655 tolerances, provide certificates labeled pass/fail and remove failed pipettes from service, provide 10% and 100% 'as left' and 'as found' readings at 10% and 100%, and record basic environmental conditions.

- Hanceville Vet Lab: Single Channel Pipette - 9, 8-Channel Pipette - 0, 12-Channel Pipette - 4
- Elba Vet Lab: Single Channel Pipette - 0, 8-Channel Pipette - 0, 12-Channel Pipette - 9.
Period of Performance
The vendor must provide the calibration service for all pipettes by May 31, 2024.

The contract will be performed at four different locations in Alabama:
- Auburn Vet Lab (Thompson Bishop Sparks State Diagnostic Lab)
- Boaz Vet Lab (Mitchem-Sparks Regional Diagnostic Lab)
- Hanceville Vet Lab (Hinton-Mitchem Poultry Regional Diagnostic Lab)
- Elba Vet Lab (J. B. Taylor Regional Veterinary Diagnostic Lab).
