We do not sell, trade, or transfer to outside parties Your Personal Data or Your User Content.
If you choose to customize your Awardee profile on your Account, the data you provide will become publicly available to HigherGov subscribers and anonymous users who visit our site.
Under rare circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (for example, due to a court order).
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We regularly purge the Personal Data and User Content of former Accounts.
The Company also retains Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

We encourage You to use two factor authentication (which can be enabled on the User Profile page) as well as taking proactive steps to protect Your data including using appropriate commercially available malware protection on Your own Devices. The security of Your data is critical to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is ever 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify all affected users within 1 business day of the discovery of the breach.
We respect Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanisms and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when one is active.
We do not specifically market to children under 13.
