Overview
Program Title
M/CIO - eGOV Federal Executive Boards
Description
Federal Executive Boards (FEB), established by Presidential Directive in 1961, are a forum for communication, collaboration, and field activity coordination among federal agencies outside of Washington, DC. The Biden-Harris Administration is taking the opportunity to elevate the role of FEBs by providing a sustainable mechanism to fund the Board program and its staff members and to further provide for strategic workforce communication and collaboration. The FEB program will operate as a Line of Business (LOB), managed by OPM, where the 24 CFO Act agencies will contribute proportional funds based upon the size of their non-NCR workforce population. FEB activities (especially the day-to-day management) will be carried out by an OPM-housed and administered Program Management Office (PMO).
