FAA Real Estate and Asset Management System (FRAMES) will modernize and replace the functionality of stand-alone applications, REMS, RETS, AITS, and USDWeb within the FAA and other DOT Modes, consolidating real property and personal property management into a single system. The system will provide life-cycle management (acquisition through disposal) tools for real property and personal property assets. FRAMES will implement system controls to reconcile and validate data accuracy. FRAMES will provide an overarching and flexible technology that integrates data currently maintained within other systems, eliminates information silos and security vulnerabilities, reduces redundancy, and provides enhanced tools that enable staff.
