DOI - Law Enforcement Records Management System (LERMS)
Description
LERMS will be a Department-wide, information collection, analysis, and reporting system that provides the common capability across all bureau law enforcement programs as the primary objective. Users will be able to enter and manage data relating to law enforcement incidents, traffic crashes; major criminal/internal affairs case management, ticketing, evidence/property management, victim services, custody management, suspicious activity reporting, and Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR)/National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). LERMS will allow all users the ability to create reports in various formats, sort data, conduct data analysis and interface with other systems, both internal (Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)) and external (eGuardian, NDEx, etc.) to the Department. The Office of Law Enforcement and Security intends to begin the project in Q2 FY24.
