The purpose of a the Probate Tracking system is to support DOI employees at the BIA, OHA, and OST to execute the DOI's mission of managing all probate cases for American Indians. this system tracks the progress of a probate case from the death notification to the distribution of Trust Assets. A monetary value cannot be computed for this system. The value gain by the heirs of the estates vary from case to case. The assets that are earned by the beneficiaries are reaped until the assets are disposed of or until their death. Managed by the Office of Trust Services, Division of Probate.
