Government Description
THIS IS A FIVE (5) YEAR INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) PERFORMANCE BASED CONTRACT FOR THE COUNTER FIRE TARGET ACQUISITION RADAR SYSTEM (AN/TPQ-53) FULL RATE PRODUCTION AND DEPLOYMENT. THIS EFFORT INCLUDES FULL RATE PRODUCTION (FRP) OF UP TO 127 AN/TPQ-53 COUNTER FIRE TARGET ACQUISITION RADAR SYSTEMS, NATIONAL STOCK NUMBER (NSN): 5840-01-601-7155, INCLUDING 70 TO SATISFY THE ARMY ACQUISITION OBJECTIVE (AAO) OF 174 SYSTEMS, 50 RADAR SYSTEMS TO SATISFY EVOLVING FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) AND/OR US REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDING ALL COMPONENTS, SPARE AND REPAIR PARTS) AND THE REMAINING REQUIREMENTS TO ADDRESS OBSOLESCENCE AND PRODUCTION
ISSUES DISCOVERED DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS AS WELL AS POTENTIAL ENGINEERING AND DESIGN UPGRADE EFFORTS.
